SOR® has designed the bulk and expense out of traditional vertical chambers with the newly released 2210 level Switch. The 2210 also features our unique, NEMA 4X “Quick-Release” cover for ease of maintenance in non-explosion proof areas.
A single model covers a wide variety of process ranges and specifications which makes the selection process easier and less risky in addition to keeping inventory of spares low. The 2210 withstands process temperatures up to 800°F (427°C) and withstands pressures up to 1500 psi (103 bar).
A CSA listing for U.S. and Canada in ordinary locations (non-hazardous) and SIL approvals are standard on every unit.
The 2210 is a chambered, float-operated level switch suitable for plant and OEM applications where open or closed contacts are required to signal presence or absence of liquid at a discrete level. The float extension arm moves a magnet which actuates (de-actuates) an electromechanical switching element.
The 2210 is suitable for most point level measurement applications such as drip legs, boilers, de-aerators, high pressure feed-water heaters, storage vessels and low pressure feed-water heaters.
With SOR quality standards, the 2210 is covered by a five-year warranty.
